So they may fear things that they have no physical presence, but they may still fear those things because of the fears and phobias that they have inside themselves. For your child to be able to cope with the fear, he or she needs to learn to deal with anxiety disorder. One of these methods is called "behavior therapy". Another method of helping anxious child is through cognitive behavioral therapy. This is a way of treating anxiety disorder by using cognitive therapy. These two approaches are used together in order to teach your child to manage his or her fears and phobias. Cognitive therapy involves helping your child to identify the fear and its triggers. The other part of this method is called exposure. Exposure therapy helps anxious child to face the fear and see the fear as something scary and unpleasant. It is something that will stay with him or her for a time. This exposure is done by showing him or her the fear by making him or her to face it and then letting him or her know that this is not good.
